The Compensation Analyst supports the design, analysis, and administration of the company's compensation programs to help ensure competitive, internally equitable, and well-documented pay practices. This role is responsible for market pricing, survey administration, compensation reporting, and analytical support for the annual compensation cycle.

The Compensation

Analyst partners with the Senior Compensation Specialist and People & Culture Managers to maintain accurate data, support pay decisions, and improve compensation processes.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- CCP or similar certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, finance, or total rewards.
- Strong understanding of compensation structures, market pricing, and pay equity concepts.
- Experience supporting annual compensation review cycles is preferred.
- Experience in a multi-state or global organization is a plus.
- Familiarity with job architecture, leveling frameworks, and salary survey tools.
- Proficiency in compensation survey platforms and HRIS systems.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly to managers and leaders.

Compensation Data & Structure Support
- Maintain compensation data,



salary ranges, job profiles, and hourly rate files.
- Support internal equity reviews and pay consistency analyses.
- Assist with updates to pay ranges, job architecture, and leveling documentation as directed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compensation processes.

Market Analysis & Benchmarking
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking for new and existing roles using approved surveys and market data sources.
- Prepare benchmarking summaries and recommendations for review by the Senior Compensation Specialist.
- Partner with People & Culture Managers to support pay range recommendations for open roles.

Annual Compensation Cycle Support
- Support the annual compensation review cycle, including merit, promotion, and market adjustment analysis.
- Prepare pay change files, validation reports, and cycle tracking materials.
- Provide analytics and reporting to support compensation decision-making.
- Monitor budget impact and guideline adherence during the compensation cycle.

Pay Equity & Compliance
- Support pay equity analyses to identify potential disparities and assist with remediation tracking.
- Help maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local compensation regulations in countries where the organization does business.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and records.

Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain compensation dashboards and reports to provide insights into pay distribution, trends, and cost impact.
- Analyze compensation data to identify anomalies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare materials and presentations for leadership and People & Culture partners.

Program Administration & Process Improvement
- Administer salary surveys and maintain compensation databases.
- Review compensation-related transactions in partnership with People & Culture Managers.




- Support ongoing budget reviews for incentive and variable pay programs as needed.
- Continuously improve compensation processes, tools, templates, and documentation.

- The expected base salary for this role starts at CAD $75,000 - $95,000/annum.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.

- Total Compensation package may be inclusive of annual incentive bonus, and equity (long-term incentive)
