Computer Engineering Expert — AI Content Specialist About The Role We're looking for computer engineering experts to help train and improve advanced AI models. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about hardware design, computer architecture, embedded systems, and low-level software — making a real impact on the next generation of intelligent systems. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that fits around your schedule.
No prior AI experience is needed — just solid domain expertise and a passion for technical precision.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Complex Engineering Challenges — Create advanced, domain-specific problems spanning RISC-V/ARM architecture, FPGA development, memory management, hardware-software co-design, and more
Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions including assembly code, HDL snippets, and architectural diagrams that serve as reference-quality training data
Audit AI-Generated Code — Evaluate AI outputs in C/C++, Verilog, and VHDL for technical accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards
Refine AI Reasoning — Identify flaws in AI logic — such as race conditions, memory leaks, or improper timing constraints — and provide structured feedback to improve model performance
Challenge Model Limits — Stress-test AI reasoning across computer architecture, embedded systems, networking, distributed systems, hardware security, and operating systems Who You Are Holds or is pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science (hardware focus), or a closely related field
Strong foundational knowledge in one or more of: Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, or Operating Systems
