Position Overview

Guardium Security is seeking friendly, professional Concierge Customer Service Member to join the team at a up-to-date luxury residential community in Edmonton.

This isn't a behind-the-desk role but rather it's a "face of the building" role. You'll be the familiar smile residents see every day, the person who remembers their names, greets their guests warmly, and makes the building feel like home.

You'll be part of the community's extended family, building genuine relationships while quietly ensuring everything around the property runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet residents, guests, and contractors warmly and by name whenever possible — be the friendly, familiar face of the building.
- Create a welcoming, five-star atmosphere in the lobby and common areas at all times.
- Build genuine rapport with residents so they feel personally connected to the team, not just "watched over."
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, deliveries, and contractor coordination with a helpful, can-do attitude.
- Answer resident questions, coordinate requests, and go the extra mile to solve problems on the spot.
- Monitor building access, patrols, and life-safety systems (CCTV, fire panels, access control) quietly and professionally in the background.
- Respond calmly and reassuringly to resident concerns,



alarms, or emergencies — service and safety go hand in hand.
- Complete daily activity logs and reports clearly and professionally using mobile reporting software.
- Liaise with property management and Guardium Operations to keep residents informed and the property running smoothly.
- Notice the small things — a burnt-out hallway light, a resident who seems to be having a rough day and respond with care.
- Diplomatically enforce property policies while keeping the tone warm and respectful.

What We're Looking For

- Strong English communication skills — clear, warm, and polished, both spoken and written.
- A natural, genuine warmth — someone who enjoys people and makes them feel noticed and appreciated.
- A big smile and welcoming presence; hospitality instincts over "security guard" instincts.
- Strong customer service, concierge, front-desk, or hospitality background considered a strong asset.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and reporting software.
- Calm, composed, and solutions-focused under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including outdoor patrols in all weather.
- Valid Alberta Security Services Licence (required).
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certification.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Experience

- Concierge,



front desk, or hospitality experience
- Residential or condominium community experience
- Customer service in a high-touch, relationship-driven environment
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation with a service-first mindset
- Incident report writing
- CCTV and access control monitoring

Schedule

- Full-Time
- Day, Evening, Overnight, Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday shifts available
- 8 to 12-hour shifts

Pay: $15.00-$17.50 per hour
