Long & McQuade is seeking a Lessons Teacher for their on-site Lesson Centre in Sudbury, ON. This role focuses on teaching drums, while also offering opportunities to educate in other instruments. A music degree or significant teaching experience with various age groups is required to ensure effective learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engaging drum lessons for students of all ages
• Develop lesson plans and curricula tailored to individual needs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with other instructors in the Lesson Centre
• Maintain a positive learning environment for all students
Requirements:
• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Previous teaching experience with all ages
• Knowledge of standard teaching methods and curriculum
• Skilled equivalency will be considered
