FOLKS is casually seeking a VFX Production Coordinator for upcoming episodic and feature film projects. In this role, you’ll be a central link between artists, supervisors, and production management, ensuring smooth communication, organized workflows, and timely delivery in a creative, people-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily production activities, supporting supervisors, producers, and artists.
- Track project milestones, shot progress, and delivery schedules using ShotGrid (FLO) and other tools.
- Manage dailies, take and distribute concise meeting notes, and maintain accurate production records.
- Maintain up-to-date calendars, schedules, and production documentation.
- Foster strong relationships with artists, supervisors, and department leads to ensure a productive and supportive work environment.
- Communicate effectively across teams and with clients, ensuring a timely and accurate information flow.
- Identify and address potential bottlenecks, proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Contribute to the refinement of production workflows and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience with live action/VFX production pipelines ; proficiency in ShotGrid (FLO) and production tracking tools.
- Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of the VFX creation process and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with calendar management and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Legal authorization to work for any studio in Canada and be a resident of Ontario as of December 31, 2024 , ideally based in Toronto.
