As a Construction Labourer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as caulking, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and carpentry work
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Support plumbing, welding, and restoration activities as directed by supervisors or skilled tradespeople
- Mix and apply materials such as paint, caulk, or adhesives; perform basic demolition or site cleanup as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)



and secure handling of tools and materials
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards

Qualifications

- Prior construction experience or a strong willingness to learn on the job
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction tasks
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with guidance if necessary
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures
- Experience with carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration is a plus
- Basic understanding of plumbing, welding, or painting techniques is beneficial but not required
- Strong physical stamina; able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
