Construction Operations Manager – Residential Decks

Deckify Edmonton is a growing premium residential deck and outdoor living company. We are looking for an experienced Construction Operations Manager to take ownership of our production department.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for making sure projects move from sold → scheduled → built → completed without the owner having to manage day-to-day production.

Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate multiple deck projects simultaneously
- Schedule and oversee construction crews and subcontractors
- Manage project timelines and production schedules
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and job readiness
- Conduct jobsite inspections and maintain quality standards
- Communicate project updates and schedules with clients
- Identify and resolve production issues quickly
- Manage deficiencies and final project completion
- Monitor labour, material, and subcontractor costs
- Track project profitability and production performance
- Build and maintain a reliable network of installers and subcontractors

We're Looking For
- 5+ years of construction experience




- Experience managing crews, subcontractors, or multiple projects
- Robust understanding of residential construction
- Deck construction experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently
- Comfortable working in the field and on jobsites
- Valid driver's licence

The Right Person We're looking for someone who takes ownership.

You should be able to walk onto a jobsite, understand what's happening, identify problems, direct the crew, communicate with the client, and get the project moving forward.

You won't simply be coordinating paperwork — you will own production.
