Construction Project Coordinator / Estimator

Rockridge Group is hiring a Construction Project Coordinator / Estimator for our excavation and demolition projects.

Responsibilities

- Project coordination, scheduling, and daily follow-up
- Review drawings, scopes, specifications, and tender documents
- Quantity takeoffs, estimating, pricing, and bid submissions
- Track BC Bid opportunities, deadlines, RFIs, and submissions
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and site access
- Procurement and follow-up on materials, rentals, and pricing
- Review daily reports, photos, trucking records, extras, delays, invoices, truck slips, dump tickets, and receipts
- Maintain project files, permits, WCB, BC 1 Call, schedules, and task lists
- Track project progress, job costs, billable items, and report to management

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of construction experience
- Excavation, demolition, or earthworks experience strongly preferred
- Estimating, takeoffs, job costing, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination experience is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project
- Comfortable using AI tools
- Excellent English and strong phone/communication skills
- Highly organized, dependable, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects independently




- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid BC driver's licence and own reliable vehicle are a MUST
- Positive energy, good attitude, and genuine enthusiasm for the work
