Responsibilities

- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely to assist with excavation, lifting, and material transport
- Assist with paving operations, including preparing surfaces and laying asphalt or concrete as needed
- Perform general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, mixing materials, and assembling structures
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including staging materials and tools




- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met efficiently and effectively
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs

Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, or excavators is highly desirable
- Knowledge of paving techniques and procedures is a plus
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor throughout the workday
- Strong attention to safety standards and procedures at all times
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job site location
