Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist with site preparation and material handling
- Assist with paving activities, including laying asphalt or concrete surfaces according to project specifications
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to perform tasks safely and efficiently across different construction phases
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and ensuring the work area is organized and secure
- Support the installation of infrastructure components like drainage systems, foundations, and structural elements




- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working setting for yourself and team members

Skills

- Proven experience in construction environments with a strong understanding of site operations
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively with proper certification if applicable
- Knowledge of paving techniques and materials used in road or surface construction
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
