Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to foster a positive shopping environment
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
- Manage cashier duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and processing refunds or exchanges
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure products are well-presented to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos or explain features to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including aisles, counters, and checkout areas




- Upsell related products or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume

Skills

- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or cashiering roles with a focus on customer service excellence
- Strong communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth checkout processes
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for qualified communication with customers or vendors
- Organizational skills for maintaining store appearance and stock levels efficiently
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to boost sales opportunities
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is a plus but not required
