About the Role

Creative BC is looking to add another temporary, full time Coordinator, Funding Programs (Music) to support the delivery of funding programs that serve British Columbia’s music sector. This role is focused on the day-to-day administration of grants, ensuring applications, contracts, payments, and records are processed accurately, consistently, and on time.

You will play an important role in maintaining the integrity of program data while supporting a positive and accessible experience for applicants. This includes responding to inquiries, guiding applicants through processes, and ensuring information is explicit and easy to navigate. You will also support advisory panel processes and contribute to reporting and ongoing program operations.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys structured work, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Overview

- Type: Temporary, Full time (Fixed-Term)

- End Date: 31/January/2027

- Schedule: Monday to Friday

- Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm (PT) - includes a 1-hour, unpaid lunch break

- Work Model: Hybrid, two (2) days in-office each week (upon completion of in-person training period)

- Salary: $60,000.00 per year (annualized; actual earnings will be pro-rated based on the duration of employment).

The Work

- Administer applications, contracts, amendments, and payments in accordance with program guidelines and timelines

- Enter and maintain accurate funding data, payment schedules, and program updates in Salesforce and related systems

- Maintain complete and well-organized program records to support reporting and audit requirements

- Support advisory panel processes, including coordination, documentation, and panel meetings

- Serve as a primary point of contact for applicant and recipient inquiries,



providing clear and consistent guidance

- Support applicants through submission and reporting processes, contributing to a positive and equitable experience

- Track funding commitments, reporting requirements, and deadlines to support program delivery

- Prepare reports and compile program data to support analysis and oversight

- Review records for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting discrepancies

- Identify recurring issues and contribute to improvements in workflows, templates, and processes

- Support team operations, including administrative tasks, event logistics, and shared workload priorities

Experience + Fit

This may be a strong fit if you:

- Have experience supporting grant, funding, or program administration in a structured, deadline-driven environment

- Have worked with data entry, record management, or maintaining accurate program or client information

- Are comfortable working with databases or CRM systems, with Salesforce considered an asset

- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, reliable work

- Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing consistency or quality

- Communicate clearly and professionally, and enjoy supporting others through processes

- Are proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel for tracking and reviewing information

- Are organized, process-oriented, and able to follow established guidelines





- Enjoy working collaboratively and are open to improving how work gets done
