Quality Control Inspector

Phoenix Industrial is currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to help out with a current project turnover in the Fort Saskatchewan, AB immediately for 10 days.

What You Bring

- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in quality control; prior Quality Control Inspector experience an asset
- Experience working with regulatory authorities, and within industrial construction, maintenance, and/or shutdowns
- Sound knowledge of applicable Safety Codes Acts, Regulations, Codes of Construction, standards and specifications
- Excellent communication skills to ensure compliance to quality codes, standards and site requirements
- Ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities
- Ability to record, track and report deviations accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) with the ability to work with multiple programs




- Adherence to site specific safety requirements; ensuring compliance with client specifications and applicable codes and standards.
- Relevant Terms; QC Inspector, QC Lead, QA/QC Inspector, QC/CA Inspector, Welding Inspector

Requirements

- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in quality control; prior Quality Control Inspector experience an asset
- Successful completion of a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Valid CWB Level II Welding Inspector certification
- Valid Visual Acuity record
- Valid Drivers Abstract
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- WHMIS 2015
- H2S Alive
- Fall Protection (Energy Safety Canada Certified)
- Elevated Work Platform (Energy Safety Canada Certified)
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor (Energy Safety Canada Certified)
