The Opportunity

We're seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to join our Drayton Valley team in a unique dual role that alternates weekly between Dispatch Operations and Safety Coordination. This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations.

What You'll Do

- Coordinate daily freight movements and driver schedules for optimal efficiency
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and depot locations to ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues
- Update tracking systems and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving support
- Be available on-call to support drivers and address urgent operational needs

What We're Looking For

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities




- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to make decisions under pressure
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or safety (asset but not required)
- Comfortable with technology and learning new systems
- Flexibility to handle on-call responsibilities during dispatcher weeks
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge Alberta Area and Edmonton Area
