This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Ops & Studio Manager based in Canada.
This role will help build and strengthen the operational foundation of a growing global Brand Studio.
You’ll create scalable workflows, systems, and processes that enable creative teams to work faster and more effectively.
The position combines creative operations, project coordination, systems thinking, and emerging AI-enabled workflows.
You’ll collaborate with designers, marketers, freelancers, agencies, and stakeholders across the business.
A major focus will be reducing operational friction through automation, better tooling, and smarter ways of working.
You’ll also support important launches, campaigns, productions, and other high-impact creative initiatives.
This is an opportunity to shape how a modern, technology-enabled creative studio operates at scale.
n Accountabilities
Own studio intake, workflows, timelines, project coordination, and delivery processes to ensure creative work moves efficiently from brief to completion.
Build scalable operational systems, processes, templates, documentation, trackers, and resource libraries that improve studio effectiveness.
Explore and implement AI tools and automation to increase creative team speed, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Identify repetitive tasks and workflow bottlenecks, developing solutions that reduce operational friction and improve ways of working.
Help evolve the studio operating system across tools such as Claude, Notion, Asana, Figma, and emerging AI and creative technology platforms.
Support major brand launches, campaigns, creative productions, and other strategic initiatives by bringing structure, coordination, and momentum to delivery.
Coordinate creative reviews, approvals, vendors, freelancers, and asset management throughout projects.
Improve visibility into priorities,
team capacity, project status, and delivery timelines.
Continuously assess studio workflows and recommend improvements that enable creative teams to operate effectively at scale.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure creative operations remain aligned with broader business and marketing priorities.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in creative operations, marketing operations, project coordination, studio management, systems design, or a related field.
Strong systems-thinking mindset with a genuine interest in improving how creative and marketing teams work.
Practical curiosity about AI, automation, emerging creative technologies, and their application to business workflows.
Experience experimenting with or implementing AI-powered tools and automation solutions; familiarity with tools such as Claude, Gemini, Notion AI, Figma, or similar platforms is valuable.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or fast-moving situations while remaining calm under pressure.
Strong project coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, marketers, agencies, freelancers, and business stakeholders.
Experience building operational processes, workflows, documentation, or systems for creative, marketing, or other fast-paced teams is an advantage.
Experience supporting brand campaigns, launches, events, or creative productions is a plus.
A proactive,
collaborative, and improvement-oriented approach, with a strong interest in enabling creative professionals to produce their best work.
Perks
Expected base salary range of CA$83,000–CA$103,000, with actual compensation determined by skills, experience, and internal equity.
