- Order Desk Representative in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Transcona Area) for one of our partners.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the first point of contact for all customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat — handling everything from general questions to order-specific requests with speed and professionalism

- Accurately process, enter, and verify customer orders across multiple channels, ensuring every detail is correct from receipt through to fulfillment

- Act as the central communication hub between customers,



sales teams, and warehouse/fulfillment — proactively tracking order status and providing timely updates on shipping, delays, or backorders

- Troubleshoot complaints and resolve issues — whether it's a service concern, an order discrepancy, a pricing error, or a shipping problem — with a solutions-first mindset and clear follow-up

- Handle returns, exchanges, and credit requests efficiently while preserving strong customer relationships

- Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities during both service and order interactions, recommending relevant products that genuinely meet customer needs

- Maintain meticulous records in internal systems, ERP, or order management platforms — keeping customer files, transaction histories, and order documentation clean and up to date

- Collaborate seamlessly with teammates across departments to ensure consistent service delivery and a smooth end-to-end customer experience

- Identify recurring issues, process bottlenecks, or improvement opportunities and flag them to leadership

- Represent the brand with polished communication, strong phone etiquette, and genuine empathy in every single interaction

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

- 2 years of experience in superb customer service, order desk, inside sales support,



or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, as well as order management platforms.

- Hands-on experience with Sage, CRM systems, or similar customer database tools.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with the ability to manage high-volume data entry and order tracking.

- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Salesforce Service Cloud, EDI platforms, or shipping software is considered an asset.

- Must be available to work Monday to Friday, onsite from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

- Must be able to provide two professional references.

- Must be available to start immediately; immediate availability is considered a strong asset.

- Reliable personal transportation is considered a strong asset.

- A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
