Car Rental Agent – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Location: 601 1st Avenue North

Hours of Operation:

- Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

About the Role We are looking for enthusiastic and service-driven Car Rental Agents to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient rental experience for our customers — from vehicle pick-up to return. You will handle customer interactions, rental agreements, and vehicle coordination while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process rental agreements, extensions, exchanges, and returns accurately using the company’s rental management system.
- Verify customer identification, payment methods, and eligibility requirements in accordance with company policies.
- Review rental terms, insurance options, and fuel policies with customers to ensure understanding before vehicle handover.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each rental, recording mileage, fuel levels, and any existing or new damage.
- Coordinate with service attendants to ensure vehicles are cleaned, fueled, and ready for the next customer.




- Handle customer concerns or billing issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Upsell additional services such as insurance coverage, vehicle upgrades, and accessories to enhance the rental experience.
- Maintain accurate records, perform data entry, and ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to manage daily fleet logistics and meet branch performance goals.

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and inspections
- Proficient with basic computer systems and data entry
- Previous experience in car rental, automotive services, or customer service is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and available to start immediately
