Job Summary

Haptrans is a subsidiary of Bondex Supply Chain Management Corp., an international freight forwarding and logistics company providing ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and cross-border logistics services with more than 2,500 employees worldwide.

We are currently hiring a Customs Entry Specialist to join our Canadian team in Vancouver and support our growing customs operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily Canadian import customs entries and clearance activities.
- Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation and entry information.
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other supporting documents for accuracy.
- Assist with tariff classification, customs valuation, duties, and taxes.
- Communicate with CBSA, carriers, clients, customs brokers, and other service providers regarding shipment clearance.
- Monitor customs releases, examinations, holds, and documentation requirements.
- Identify and resolve customs entry issues and discrepancies.
- Follow up on shipments to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
- Maintain accurate customs records and documentation.




- Coordinate with internal operations teams and overseas offices to ensure smooth shipment processing.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding customs clearance status.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in Canadian customs, customs brokerage, import operations, or freight forwarding.
- Solid understanding of Canadian customs clearance procedures and import documentation.
- Experience preparing customs entries and working with tariff classification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mandarin Chinese and English proficiency is required.
- Experience with CargoWise or other freight forwarding/customs systems is an asset.
- CCS or other Canadian customs-related certification is an asset but not required.

A Customs Broker Licence is not required for this position. Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
