Job Title: Data Platform Engineering Developer

Location: Montreal, QC- Remote

Duration: 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrated expertise in Terraform (IaC) for provisioning Snowflake accounts, Snowflake resources, and AWS resources.
- Develop and configure the multi-account Snowflake infrastructure (Horizon source account → consumer analytics account via Direct Share).
- Implement and configure Snowflake Intelligence (Cortex Analyst) according to design specifications, including deployment of provided semantic models, custom instructions, and the Verified Query Repository (VQR).
- Develop aggregated non-PII exposure views and pre-share validation mechanisms according to established governance policies.
- Implement the analytics account RBAC model, including creation of functional roles, line-of-business access profiles, and integration with Azure AD and IIQ.
- Configure network security controls (Network Policies) to restrict access to the National Bank corporate network.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (account setup, RBAC, Network Policies, warehouses, monitoring).




- Develop validation and auditing pipelines, including residual PII detection, usage monitoring, and consumption alerts.

Snowflake & Data:-
- Demonstrated expertise in Snowflake, including:
- Multi-account administration
- Data Sharing
- Advanced RBAC
- Network Policies
- Resource Monitors

Deep understanding of Snowflake security mechanisms:-
- Row Access Policies
- Agile Data Masking
- Aggregation Policies
- Object Tagging
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex (Analyst, Search, Intelligence) or a proven ability to quickly adopt native AI capabilities.

Strong proficiency in advanced SQL:-
- Views
- Stored Procedures
- Streams & Tasks
- Complex aggregations

Cloud & Infrastructure:-
- Experience with AWS (IAM, VPC, PrivateLink, CloudWatch) in a Snowflake environment.
- Strong Terraform (IaC) expertise for provisioning Snowflake accounts and resources.
- Understanding of secure network architectures (segmentation, PrivateLink, DNS).
- Excellent Python skills for development and automation.
