How You’ll Make an Impact

- Lead all Business Unit-level data migration activities for the Teamcenter transition, ensuring alignment with global processes and timelines.
- Collaborate with the Global Data Migration Team and Data Migration Partner, ensuring consistent interpretation of scope, mapping, migration rules, and quality gates.
- Own data scope, mapping, transformation logic, and validation, ensuring migrated data is at least as useful and accessible as in the original Teamcenter and preferably improved.
- Define and validate attribute mapping between old and new Teamcenter data structures, including items, BOMs, metadata, classifications, and engineering artifacts.
- Identify, profile, and assess legacy data issues, including historical inconsistencies from prior migrations, and coordinate remediation actions.
- Coordinate extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load (ETL) activities across internal SMEs, Migration Partners, and global PLM teams.
- Assess and govern non Teamcenter sources of product data (spreadsheets, legacy systems, local tools), ensuring required content is aligned and migrated into the new teamcenter.
- Ensure the business is ready for migration cycles, including test loads, validation rounds, defect resolution, and final cutover.
- Manage quality gates and acceptance criteria in line with global PLM rollout governance frameworks .
- Support change management activities by helping business teams understand new data structures, attributes, and ways of working associated with PLM360.
- Coordinate with functional SMEs (Engineering, CAD/PD, Parts & BOMs, Service, CAE, Manufacturing, etc.) for data ownership, decision-making, and approvals.
- Report progress, risks, and issues to BU leadership, project leadership, and global migration governance.

What You Bring





- Proven experience in Teamcenter / Active Workspace data structures, item management, revisions, BOMs, and metadata rules.
- Solid background in data analysis, data quality assessment, and handling complex engineering datasets.
- Prior experience leading or executing PLM data migrations (preferably multi-system enterprise migrations).
- Hands-on experience with mapping design, ETL workflows, and data validation frameworks.
- Understanding of core engineering product data (Items, BOMs, Specifications, CAD/PD data, Service BOM variants, etc.).
- Experience working with large OEM or complex engineered products, enabling sound judgement around product structure and configuration.
- Familiarity with SAP integration contexts, part master data flows, and downstream ERP touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scope, Mapping & Data Ownership

• Lead creation and maintenance of detailed data mapping specifications, attribute lists, and transformation rules.
- Validate mapping with Migration Partner, Global Data Migration.
- Ensure mapping decisions align with future processes and data model updates.

1. Data Extraction, Cleansing & Transformation

• Oversee extraction of Teamcenter data (items, BOMs, metadata, documents).
- Drive cleansing and correction of legacy issues, including alignment with current business processes.
- Review transformations and provide sign-off for each migration cycle.

1. Data Loading & Validation

• Participate in and coordinate test loads into sandbox and production environments.




- Lead validation rounds, reconcile data discrepancies, and drive closure of data defects.
- Confirm that migrated data supports intended business processes and is production ready.

1. Multi-Team Orchestration

• Act as the primary interface for your BU to Global Migration and Migration Partner.
- Coordinate with engineering, service, manufacturing, supply chain and quality SMEs for data decisions.
- Ensure consistency across local and global data migration activities.

1. Documentation & Governance

• Maintain migration-related documentation: mapping specs, data rules, validation scripts, risks, and issue logs.
- Support global rollout governance, checklist completion, and milestone quality gates.
