We're looking for a Database Administrator to join our team. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our production database environments, ensuring they remain reliable, performant, and secure. You'll work closely with operations, software engineers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support business-critical systems while contributing to the modernization of our database platform.

What You'll Do

- Manage and maintain production PostgreSQL and Oracle database environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance, availability, and reliability.
- Support backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
- Assist with database upgrades, migrations, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on database design, performance tuning, and production support.
- Help automate database administration and operational tasks.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain database documentation, standards, and best practices.

What We're Looking For
- Experience administering production database environments.




- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases.
- Good understanding of SQL, database performance, backup and recovery, and high availability.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- A desire to learn, continuously improve, and contribute to a high-performing engineering organization.

Advantage and prefered
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience with database migrations or modernization projects.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools.
- Experience supporting financial services, fintech, or other high-volume production systems.
