Sea Change and Shiddy's are looking for a Booze Mover to join our dynamic team! As a Booze mover, you will play a crucial role in organizing the delivery and offloading of products for Sea Change Brewing Company and Shiddy’s Distilling. This position involves coordinating with the Warehouse Manager and Order Desk Administrator to pick orders, load trucks, and deliver products as needed.

You will conduct maintenance checks on trucks, help plan delivery routes, and ensure timely and accurate delivery to our accounts. You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and Order Desk Administrator and contribute to the efficiency and success of our businesses.

- Products: RTDs (Ready-to-Drink Cocktails), Vodka, Gin, with future expansion to other spirits and products.
- Taproom: The Rumpus Room, a full-service restaurant offering Flatboy Burgers, cocktails, and beers.

Sea Change Brewing Company (SCBC):

- Products: A full lineup of top-selling beers in Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan with plans to expand nationally, including The Wolf, Prairie Fairy, Death Wave, Gremlin, Man Crush, Blonde, and Red, along with monthly limited releases and “Maiden Voyage” products. Expansion in Non-Alcoholic products will be pursued along with increasing sales with our Straight Edge offerings.
- Taprooms: OG: Full-service taproom featuring Vietnamese food by Mai Mai. BMNT: Full-service taproom serving Mexican-style food, with a Flatboy Burgers partnership in the kitchen.

RESPONSIBILITIES





Order Management

- Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and Order Desk Administrator to pick and pack orders for delivery.
- Ensure orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for delivery.
- Organize and deliver food and beverage to our taprooms

Coordination of Deliveries

- Help to plan and execute delivery routes using Routific or other means to ensure timely and efficient delivery with the Order Desk Administrator.
- Deliver orders to accounts, ensuring all products are handled with care.

Truck Maintenance and Safety

- Conduct required maintenance checks on trucks and maintain logbooks.
- Report any issues with vehicles in a timely manner to ensure they are addressed promptly.

Customer Service

- Provide a positive experience for customers as you are the face of the company when delivering products.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Be flexible and maintain a positive attitude, accommodating last-minute changes and overtime when needed.

Miscellaneous Duties

- Pick up RTVs (Return to Vendor) from BDL (Brewery Direct Logistics) as required.
- Handle other miscellaneous deliveries and pickups as needed.

REQUIREMENTS





- Proven experience in a delivery or logistics role, preferably within the hospitality or brewing industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using routing software and maintaining vehicle logs.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in driving larger vehicles
- Able to lift 50 - 100 pounds
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.

DUTIES

- Oversee daily operations related to picking and delivering orders for the brewery and distillery.
- Ensure procedures are followed and organizational standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Lead and Order Desk Administrator to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct maintenance checks and maintain logbooks for delivery trucks.
- Help to plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Utilize tablets for picture and video of stops and drops
- Safely and efficiently loading orders onto trucks
- Operating forklift

Pay: $20.00 per hour
