We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess robust driving skills, a commitment to customer service.
- Must own a vehicle . Vehicle must be in good working condition.
- Mileage will be paid.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must have a clean driving record.
- Basic automotive repair skills to address minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
