Independent Glass Distributors (IGD) is seeking an energetic, dependable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Person.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, take pride in providing excellent customer service, be well organized, and be willing to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities. This is a great chance for someone looking for a stable, long-term career with an established company.
A valid Class 5 driver's licence and good knowledge of the Lower Mainland are required.
Responsibilities
This is a multi-functional position responsible for:
- Delivering auto glass safely and efficiently to customers throughout the Lower Mainland
- Picking and putting away inventory
- Light general warehouse duties
- Assisting with inventory organization and control
- Providing professional and courteous service to customers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Good knowledge of the Lower Mainland and local roadways
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and safety conscious
- Physically capable of handling auto glass and warehouse duties
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience is an asset
