Duties

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments, including cleanings, fillings, orthodontics, and pediatrics.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when needed.
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, confirming patient details, and answering queries.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote healthy habits.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics and pediatrics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care.
- Experience working with CAD systems for digital impressions or imaging is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
