We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation at the front desk. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others in a dental office environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic medical records systems.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records in tracker or similar software.
- Process patient information and verify insurance eligibility.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and office protocols to assist patients effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office or as a Dental Receptionist is a MUST ( at least 2 years experience)
- Proficient in using phone systems and electronic medical records software (experience with tracker is a plus).
- Solid understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Familiarity with front desk operations within an office setting is advantageous.
