Our growing dental practice in downtown Vancouver is seeking an experienced, personable, and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our team full-time (4–5 days per week).

We are a patient-focused practice committed to providing high-quality care in a professional, friendly, and supportive environment. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, works well as part of a team, and takes initiative in helping keep the schedule full and patients up to date with their dental care.

Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage appointment scheduling and help maintain a productive, well-organized schedule
- Proactively contact patients for recare, outstanding treatment, and follow-up appointments
- Help fill openings and short-notice cancellations
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and process dental insurance claims
- Manage patient billing, payments, and outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate patient records and account notes
- Assist with treatment coordination and scheduling




- Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to support smooth daily operations

Requirements
- At least 1 year of dental reception experience
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and confident when speaking with patients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive and comfortable making outgoing patient calls
- Strong team player who is also able to work independently
- Reliable and able to follow through on tasks
- Experience with ClearDent software is preferred
