Dental Treatment Coordinator & Dental Assistant

Position Summary

Coordinate patient care by guiding patients through their treatment plans and insurance coverage while providing clinical support to the dental team. Assist with treatment planning, insurance coordination, scheduling, patient education, and chair side dental assisting to ensure an productive, high-quality patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Present and explain treatment plans, procedures, and treatment priorities to patients.
- Review insurance benefits, submit predeterminations and claims, and provide accurate financial estimates.
- Schedule treatment appointments according to clinical priority and provider availability.
- Coordinate referrals with specialists and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate clinical and financial documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding treatment and patient inquiries.
- Provide chair side assistance during restorative, surgical, and emergency procedures for dental assistants during vacations, busy scheduled periods and staff shortages.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials while maintaining strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols.




- Take and process digital radiographs and intraoral photographs.
- Educate patients on treatment recommendations, oral hygiene, and post-operative care.
- Assist with laboratory cases and case coordination.
- Maintain inventory and ensure clinical supplies and equipment are fully stocked
- Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
