Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Technician to join our busy denture clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality dental prostheses while ensuring a seamless workflow in our laboratory and directly with our denturists and lab team.
Duties
- Design and fabricate dentures: complete, partial, implant supported or retained.
- Proficiency with denture set-ups in wax for complete and partial dentures, including wax-ups for try in and finish
- Perform repairs and adjustments to existing dental prostheses.
- Fabricating and refitting acrylic partials onto duplicate models
- Utilize a variety of materials and tools to achieve optimal results.
- Ability to accurately grind, shape, and polish recently processed cases
- Maintain detailed records of each case and update patient information as necessary.
- Ensure all lab equipment is maintained and in good working order. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure patient satisfaction and quality of work.
- Ordering & managing of lab supplies
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
- Certification in Dental Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a dental technician.
- Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Good understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge through training and professional development.
