What can you expect in this role?

- Accepting notice of claims and working with customers and preferred vendors to resolve claims quickly and efficiently
- Managing moderate to complex personal property claims
- Confirming policy coverage by ensuring the facts of the claim fall within the scope of Definity claims policies
- Maintaining detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems
- Processing claims payments within level of authority after verifying claimants’ entitlements
- Initiating salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned files

What do you bring to the role?

- Post‑secondary education (degree or diploma), CIP designation (or in progress), or relevant property handling experience




- Minimum 8 years of property claims handling experience
- Experience scoping and estimating losses
- Familiarity with CICS, IMS, Xactimate and CDS system is an asset
- Proficient in MS Word and ExcelValid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Qualified, friendly and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co‑workers
- Perform well in a busy operation and remains calm under pressure
- Team player adaptable to a changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $59,300 - $109,200
