Job Location: Montreal, Quebec Location Flexibility: Primary Location Only Req Id: 11223 Posting Start Date: 8/11/26 We are seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician to provide technical support to end users and help ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT environment. The successful candidate will provide both onsite and remote technical support, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, participate in IT projects, and collaborate with various technical teams to deliver high-quality IT services.
Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2 technical support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and network equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, drivers, and standard system images.
Install and replace IT and network equipment (switches, routers, peripherals, etc.).
Verify network connectivity for newly deployed equipment.
Prepare equipment for redeployment or disposal in accordance with established procedures.
Provide onsite support to end users, including executive users when required.
Collaborate with remote support teams to perform onsite technical interventions.
Participate in IT deployment, relocation, and equipment reconnection projects.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mobile devices.
Track incidents and communicate status updates to users and management.
Escalate complex incidents to the appropriate support teams.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and assist in creating and updating knowledge base documentation.
Participate in various IT projects based on organizational needs.
Deliver professional, high-quality customer service.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have strong knowledge of the following:
Microsoft Windows operating systems
Hardware and software troubleshooting in an enterprise environment
Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Microsoft Intune
Microsoft Office
Active Directory administration and troubleshooting
Local Area Networks (LAN) and VPN connectivity
Technical troubleshooting and problem resolution Desired Profile Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgment Requirements College diploma (DEC), vocational diploma (DEP) in Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of technical support experience in a Microsoft environment.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office.
Experience troubleshooting LAN and VPN connectivity issues.
Experience in a corporate IT environment is considered an asset.
Preferred Certifications The following certifications are considered assets: CompTIA A+
Microsoft Certified (MCTS, MCITP, or equivalent)
ITIL Working Conditions Full-time position.
Availability to participate in an on-call rotation and provide support outside regular business hours as required.
Occasional travel based on project requirements.
Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to approximately 23 kg (50 lbs).
