About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership and executive oversight for all government operations within a distinct self-government context. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the public service in support of elected leadership, ensuring the effective implementation of government strategies that reflect the rights and aspirations of the community. This role requires a leader who can champion government excellence, non-partisan public administration, and citizen-focused service delivery, while also promoting long-term sustainability and collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.





Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 10 years' senior leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role. Experience in government transformation, financial management, and enterprise risk management is essential. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the company's history, culture, and governance structures, and experience working with Indigenous governments or rights-bearing Indigenous communities. Key attributes include distinction-based leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to advancing self-determination and nation-building. The CEO must be a visionary leader, results-oriented, and possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
