Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- May train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
- Food safety/handling skills
Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma
Experience
2 year to less than 3 years of commercial cooking experience
