In this role, the Director of Design is responsible for overseeing all aspects of design and development for our Games business.

Managing a team of highly creative designers and partnering with cross-functional leads to support table top games, trading cards, puzzles, and more! This role is located in our NYC location and is required 4 Days per week in office. Leading the team of multi-disciplined designers in the creation and execution of Spin Master games business Work with SM inventor relations team to evaluate toy submissions for inclusion in the GBU’s various product lines.

Partner with Brand Director to sell product concepts both internally at executive internal line reviews and external customer previews Partner with internal departments (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Graphic Design, Sales, Planning, Copy Writing)



to insure seamless development of each toy project. Partner and collaborate with both internal and external design consultants and manage the development costs with all design team members to bring each product in within agreed project budgets Managing the licensor product approval process Brand Design experience Advanced knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, ESKO and Acrobat. Heightened creative and technical abilities including conceptual drawing, and manual illustration a plus.
