Sobeys is accelerating the use of Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and Agentic AI to drive business value across the enterprise. As we expand our AI capabilities, we are seeking a leader who can build and scale the operating model, delivery capability, and governance required to move AI solutions from pilot to production.

Reporting into the VP, Enterprise Data & Advanced Technologies, this role will lead the enterprise capability for Agentic AI delivery, MLOps, and productionized advanced analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing standards, operating models, and delivery practices that ensure AI solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, measurable, and aligned to business priorities.

This is a highly collaborative leadership role that partners across business, technology, data, security, privacy, architecture, and governance teams to deliver measurable business outcomes through AI.

What You'll Do

Lead Enterprise AI Delivery Capability

Establish and lead the enterprise capability for Agentic AI delivery, MLOps, and productionized advanced analytics.

Develop and execute the roadmap for enterprise AI operationalization and scale.

Drive the successful transition of AI, machine learning, and agentic solutions from experimentation to production deployment.

Build sustainable support, monitoring, and lifecycle management practices for enterprise AI capabilities.

Define Standards, Governance and Operating Models

Create and maintain enterprise standards, guardrails, and operating models for:

Agent development and deployment

Model lifecycle management

Agent orchestration

Monitoring and observability

Production operations and support

Establish production readiness criteria and governance processes for AI and ML solutions.

Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, risk, and governance requirements.

Deliver Business Value Through AI

Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI, agentic, and machine learning use cases.

Translate business opportunities into scalable AI products and capabilities.

Drive adoption and value realization by measuring outcomes and continuously improving solution performance.

Ensure investments in AI capabilities are aligned with enterprise strategic priorities and value pools.

Build Solid Enterprise Partnerships

Work closely with Data CoE,



Data Solutions, Architecture, Security, Privacy, Governance, and Platform teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.

Partner with operations teams to ensure production readiness, monitoring, support models, and cost management practices are in place.

Influence enterprise technology decisions, architecture patterns, and AI adoption strategies.

Lead People and Capability Development

Develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, and talent development.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, responsible innovation, and operational excellence.

Create clarity through well-defined decision rights, measurable outcomes, and transparent performance expectations.

What You Bring

Experience

10+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated leadership experience in enterprise data, analytics, artificial intelligence, engineering, platform, product, governance, or technology delivery organizations.

Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale AI, machine learning, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.

Proven experience building operating models, delivery frameworks, governance practices, and organizational capabilities.

Significant experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior business and technology stakeholders.

Experience managing budgets, vendors, delivery priorities, risk, and organizational change.

Technical and Business Expertise

Strong understanding of

Agentic AI Architectures MLOps and model lifecycle management

Enterprise data platforms

Data strategy and governance

Advanced analytics and machine learning

Security, privacy, and risk management

Enterprise architecture principles

Production operations and support models

Ability to translate business strategy into actionable roadmaps, operating models, and measurable outcomes.

Leadership Skills

Strategic thinker with a strong focus on business outcomes.

Strong executive communication and storytelling capabilities.

Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.





Ability to lead through ambiguity and make balanced decisions that consider value, risk, scalability, and adoption.
