Director, Organizational Effectiveness

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – typically 4 days onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract - $65-74/hr

Start: September 2026

Overview

Our financial services client is seeking an experienced Director, Organizational Effectiveness to support a large-scale workforce transformation initiative. This role will partner closely with senior business leaders, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver organizational design, change management, and workforce transformation solutions.

Responsibilities

- Lead organizational effectiveness activities across complex transformation initiatives
- Design and execute organizational design and change management strategies
- Advise senior leaders on operating model, organizational structure, workforce, and change considerations
- Partner with HR and business leaders to assess organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop stakeholder engagement, communication, and change plans
- Facilitate complex problem-solving and working sessions with senior stakeholders
- Leverage data and insights to develop recommendations and support decision-making
- Create clear, compelling executive-level PowerPoint presentations and strategic recommendations
- Manage deliverables, risks, priorities, and timelines within a fast-paced project setting





Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Design, Change Management, Transformation, Strategy, or Management Consulting
- Strong hands-on experience with organizational design and/or change management
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with experience creating executive-ready presentations
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior leaders
- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Experience navigating complex, ambiguous initiatives within matrixed organizations
- Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities

- Experience developing operating models and workforce strategies

Ideal Candidate: A polished organizational effectiveness professional with strong executive presence who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. They should be able to take an ambiguous organizational challenge, structure the problem, develop actionable recommendations, and communicate them clearly to senior leadership.
