About the Role

Provides senior assistant and administrative support of a highly confidential nature to the Director, and the Manager,



Academic and Administrative Services, in the School of Environmental Science. Informs and updates the Director, members of the School, and all committees falling under the jurisdiction of the Director (e.g., TPC) on policies and procedures pertaining to faculty appointments/leaves/resignations, elections, and tenure and promotion matters. Maintains accurate database and spreadsheet records for all School operations.

Provides diverse administrative, clerical, and financial assistance to the School in support of all aspects of the graduate program and School budgets. Provides assistance to faculty and staff regarding the interpretation of university policies and procedures, research accounting guidelines, teaching materials, and coordinates the clerical workflow in the general office.
