Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent food service to our guests in a hotel or restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff, including peeling vegetables or assembling ingredients.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.




- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by disposing of trash and recycling appropriately.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
