Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable dishwasher to join our team at The Pump Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, kitchen items, etc. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our kitchen and overall dining experience for our guests.

Job Duties

- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure the proper washing and sanitizing of all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Hand wash items that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including disposing of trash and recyclables properly
- Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks as needed, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and taking out trash
- Adhere to sanitation and safety standards at all times




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of dishware and utensils during busy periods
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to management promptly

Requirements

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy trays of dishes and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
