Dishwasher

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced individual to join our team as a part-time Dishwasher.

This position is 2–3 shifts per week, with shifts typically 6–7 hours long. Applicants must have flexible availability to work based on coverage needs, including:

- Wed/Thurs/Sun: 5:00pm–11:00pm
- Fri/Sat: 5:00pm–12:00am

Qualifications:

- Must be available to work Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday between 5:00pm & 11:00pm and Friday & Saturday between 5:00pm-12:00am.
- 1–2 years of dishwashing experience in a busy restaurant.
- Works well under pressure, can multitask, and thrives in a quick-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Can prioritize tasks based on the needs of dine-in service.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills. Works well with others.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours or longer and frequently lift up to 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities:





- Responsible for fast and effective cleaning of all kitchen dishes including, but not limited to: plates, bowls, pizza pans, glassware, and utensils.
- Ensure garbage, compost, and recyclables are removed and placed in the correct bins outside.
- Ensure all sanitary and food handling standards are maintained at all times.
- Operates kitchen dishwashing equipment and acts with safety in mind at all times.
- Handle and store all dishes and glassware with care to prevent breakage.
- Keep the dish-pit clean and organized while ensuring proper storage of cleaning supplies.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, provincial, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.

Job Type: Permanent Pay: From $17.00 per hour
