We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for a large group of dogs. Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime and rest periods to ensure safety and well-being
- Monitor dogs for signs of stress or discomfort and respond appropriately
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the daycare area to ensure a hygienic environment
- Provide basic training or socialization activities as directed by management
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior and needs
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with dog crates
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries to animals or staff
Qualifications
- 18+
- Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required; a genuine love for dogs is essential
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
