Responsibilities
- Operate dry ice blasting equipment safely and effectively to remove coatings, contaminants, or buildup from surfaces.
- Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, or other access equipment as needed for thorough cleaning tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of blasting equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of job sites, including handling materials such as dry ice pellets and cleaning tools.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks throughout each shift.
- Support additional tasks such as material handling with forklifts or commercial driving when required for project logistics.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain blasting equipment.
- Construction experience that provides familiarity with site setup and safety procedures.
- Experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in demanding environments.
- Valid forklift certification for safe handling of materials around job sites.
- Commercial driving skills to transport equipment or materials between locations safely.
