Job Title:
Specialist - Package Implementation
Role Summary:
- The Duck Creek Insights / Extract–Mapper Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data extracts and mappings from Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and Claims systems into Duck Creek Insights / downstream reporting systems.
- The role requires robust understanding of insurance data models, ETL concepts, and Duck Creek data structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek Insights extracts and mappings from Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.
- Analyze source data requirements and map Duck Creek transactional data to Insights fact and dimension tables.
- Develop and modify Extract Mapper configurations, including joins, filters, transformations, and aggregations.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and completeness of extracted data.
- Support reporting teams by enabling reliable and timely data availability in Insights.
- Work closely with business analysts, reporting teams, and Duck Creek configurators to understand reporting and analytics needs.
- Participate in defect fixes, enhancements, and production support related to Insights extracts.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, naming standards, and performance best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation for mappings, extract logic, and data flows.
