Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks designated for delivery and transportation tasks
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to proper handling procedures
- Follow designated routes and schedules, adapting as needed to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times

Skills

- Proven experience driving heavy vehicles with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance basics
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual handling tasks
- Clear communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients
- Moffett experience preferred but not required
