Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse learners, including children with disabilities. This role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly valued to support our diverse community of learners.

Duties

- Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom setting that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities and participate in team meetings.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized assistance.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
- Utilize computer skills for record-keeping,



lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding assistant staff or volunteers when applicable.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
- Formal training in early childhood education or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
- Knowledge of childcare practices, special education strategies, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to operate computers for documentation, lesson planning, and correspondence.
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to create engaging learning experiences.
- Leadership qualities to guide classroom activities and support team collaboration. Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $15.00-$24.87 per hour
