Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational workplace. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom that promotes early childhood development. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual student needs
- Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction
- Support children’s emotional well-being by fostering positive relationships and effective communication
- Observe and assess each child's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records of their growth and achievements
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop tailored educational strategies for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment following health and safety regulations
- Utilize computer skills to document student progress, prepare educational materials, and communicate effectively with families
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings or classroom environments
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development, and special education practices
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse student populations
- Excellent communication skills to engage children, parents, and team members effectively
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Proficiency in computer operation, including basic software applications for documentation and communication purposes
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities, schedules, and student records efficiently
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Strong writing skills for documentation, reports, and parent communications
- Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting
