Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote early childhood learning and growth
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Support children’s social-emotional development by modeling positive interactions and conflict resolution skills
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, needs, and achievements
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized education plans for children with special needs or disabilities
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities using log books.




- Manage classroom routines efficiently while demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills

Skills

- Fluent in English
- Proven experience working with young children in a early childhood
- Knowledge of childcare best practices and early childhood development
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Strong written skills
- Demonstrated classroom experience with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; prep art activity while watching children
- Leadership qualities to guide children confidently while fostering independence
- Exceptional organizational skills to plan lessons, track progress, and maintain classroom order
- Writing skills necessary for documenting observations, preparing reports, and communicating with families
