The depth of our resources is evident in the variety of projects we construct; from water filtration to wastewater treatment; dams to ethanol; we build it all….And more!NAC is currently seeking a Carpenter/Formsetter, initially based at our Lakeshore Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Innisfil, ON.Position Summary:Under the direction of the Civil Superintendent, the Carpenter/Formsetter is responsible for building, restoring and/or installing of structural formwork from wood or metal forms for the construction of concrete structures. This position requires knowledge of the heavy construction industry. Specifically the practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control and safety associated with this industry. You must be proficient at the following tasks: building wood and advanced formwork systems and pouring and placing concrete.Build, layout and execute wooden forms and advanced formwork systems as required, according to specifications with the ability to make calculations depending on gradesEnsure forms are properly designed and on grade to meet construction specifications for the projectUse of levels and measuring tapes in the use of setting forms to grade with minimal supervisionConstruct chutes, forms and align form panels for pouring concreteFill form with concrete material,
