We are hiring for a relief full time Occupational Therapist at the Cottonwoods long-term care centre in Kelowna. This position may require driving and so a valid BC drivers license and access to a personal vehicle is a requirement.

Shift times/Hours of work: 07:00-15:00

About The Role

The Occupational Therapist works independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, and may be providing a full range of occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.




- Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
- Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers.
- Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living.
- Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings.
- Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.
