- Career development Support What You Will Do - Design, review, and coordinate electrical systems for building projects.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with applicable codes, regulations, standards, and safety requirements, including the Manitoba Electrical Code and Canadian Electrical Code.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, structural engineers,



architects, contractors, and clients throughout project lifecycles.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, monitor construction progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Support commissioning, testing, and startup activities for electrical systems and equipment.

What You Will Need - Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.

- Preference will be given to candidates registered as a Skilled Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers & Geoscientists of Manitoba.
- Engineers-in-Training (EITs) with demonstrated ability to manage projects may also be considered.
- Valid Class5 Manitoba Driver’s Licence.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, agricultural, and construction environments.
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD and Revit).
